After placement, the incisions are carefully closed, and you are monitored before being discharged home.

After surgery, breast augmentation patients need to rest for a few days, but will be encouraged to move around to promote circulation. As the skin adjusts to the new breast size, it’s normal to feel tightness in the chest area. You’ll be scheduled for a post-op follow-up appointment a week after surgery.
